In most cases, it takes approximately 30 minutes. The time taken involves speaking with you to understand what happened, looking at your vehicle, writing the estimate, reviewing the repair with you and answering any questions you may have. If for some reason you cannot wait, we also offer the option of inspecting the vehicle and then emailing the finished estimate and inspection photos directly to you.
When you’ve been in an accident, you have the right to take your car to any collision shop of your choice in order to get the repairs done under the MD law. If you have a special auto repair shop in mind, you have every legal right to have it repaired there, regardless of the preferred shops that your insurance company may suggest.
No. There is no need to run around trying to get multiple estimate. If you have had an estimate from an insurance company, bring it to us and we will work with you and the insurance company. If there is more damage than what the insurance company estimate states we will contact them, they will send someone out to look at the damage, and adjust the estimate. Please keep in mind, do not be fooled by ‘lower’ estimates. A car is the second most expensive investment you will probably make. We are here to help you protect your rights as a consumer and owner of your vehicle. Any body shop can give you a “good price” but that does not always include what we call craftsmanship. Often shops will leave out parts and/or labor operations. This lowers the quality and bottom line of the repair. At Han’s Auto Center we make every attempt to restore your car to its original condition at a fair price.
Han's Auto Center will include in the estimate how much time it should take to complete your vehicle's repairs. On average, drivable cars that are scheduled to be brought in on Monday are in most cases delivered back to the customer by Friday of the same week, depending on the extent of work required. We would be glad to discuss the specific needs of your vehicle to ensure your estimate is as accurate as possible.
Yes. We have an after-hours drop box and a simple process. Simply take out an after-hours envelope from the right side of the box, fill it out, and put it into the drop box. We do have 24 hour video surveillance so you can feel safe choosing this option at Han’s.
We can arrange for you to get a rental car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. We are located only 1 mile away from their closest location! We arrange it so they will meet you here at Han’s when you drop off your vehicle for repair. We realize people need to get moving with their day and Enterprise is exceptional at making sure you are in a car quickly and efficiently. As an additional note, if you don’t have rental car coverage as part of your auto insurance package, you should think about getting it – for the minimal increase in premium it can be an extremely valuable benefit (just in case…)! Similarly, we offer a complimentary ride to your local home or office within a reasonable distance.
If your deductible is not waived by your insurance provider, it will be your responsibility to pay Han’s Auto Body when you pick up your vehicle. If you aren’t sure about your deductible, you can call us and we can tell you whether your insurance company has waived your deductible or whether it will be your responsibility.
We accept insurance checks, cash, all major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover. We do NOT accept personal checks.
